by Kyle Hilliard on Jul 21, 2013 at 06:53 AM

In a post on the Age of Wonders III official website, Triumph Studios community manager Jimmy van der Have delivered the news that the game will see a slight delay.

When the game was announced in Februay, in was slated for a late 2013 release window, but an exact date was never specified. There is still no exact date, but the game won't be releasing until the first quarter of 2024. In the online posting, van der Have said, "Age of Wonders III is the largest game in the series and with the additional polish we hope we can give you an even better experience!"

Our Take
Considering the game never had and continues to lack a locked release date, this delay feels especially minor. The game moved from Q3 2013, to Q1 2014, so Age of Wonders fans won't have to wait too much longer than they were already.
