Injustice Goes Up, Up And Away To Retail In New Launch Trailer
This is going to be a very long weekend, as fans of DC Comics' pantheon of heroes await the release of NetherRealm's Injustice: Gods Among Us. Following the successful reboot of Mortal Kombat in 2011, Ed Boon's studio has been hard at work leveraging its experience to create something brand new.
Injustice builds upon the combined heritage of both NetherRealm and DC Comics, while introducing interactive, destructible backgrounds, visually impressive arena changes, and faithful representations of the superpowers. The title will feature a story mode similar to that found in 2011's Mortal Kombat, but those interested can get a jump on the narrative with 13 issues of prequel comics that are currently available.
Injustice: Gods Among Us arrives April 16 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.
