Ken Levine: BioShock Vita Not Currently In Development

by Matt Helgeson on Feb 26, 2013 at 09:14 AM

In an interview with IGN, BioShock creator Ken Levine said that, because no deal has been signed between Sony and publisher Take Two, the much-discussed BioShock game for Vita has not been started.

Levine says business concerns and lack of a funding deal has delayed the project, which he still hopes will eventually see the light of day.

Levine said, "I've got my fingers crossed that that's going to happen because it's something I want to do, but until somebody starts signing the checks, there's nothing I can do…. At the end of the day, I work for Take-Two and they need to be able to fund that development, and they need to make sure they have a deal in place that makes sense for them and makes sense for Sony."
