Assassin's Creed Survey Suggests 2013 Title & More

by Matthew Kato on Nov 29, 2012 at 02:49 AM

It's routine for companies to gauge interest in something regardless of whether it ultimately ends up coming to pass. Surveys, focus groups, and trademarks are just a few of the methods used by publishers and developers to kick the tires on ideas. As it has done in the past, Ubisoft has commissioned a survey that inquires about another Assassin's Creed in 2013, co-op play, and much more.

The Gaming Liberty has uncovered the GMI survey that asks a range of questions from participants' thoughts on Assassin's Creed 3 and its DLC, to more future-orientated questions like whether they want co-op in the series. This includes everything from splitscreen offline co-op to undertaking assassination or story-based missions with a friend.

Elsewhere the survey also asks about participants' thoughts on matters like player customization, PvP multiplayer, a new present-day hero other than Desmond, playing another game with Connor, playing as a Templar, playing as a new assassin in a new time period, and more.

The survey also asked how likely participants' would be to purchase a new Assassin's Creed game in 2013.

In the past, Ubisoft has used surveys to gauged interest in features like co-op, and given Ubisoft's history with the franchise, we frankly expect a new game in the series to come out in 2013. We'll have to see what makes the cut.
