Darksiders II Gets An iPhoneApp
In the Darksiders II Soul Harvest iOS app, players can compete by "harvesting souls" of others who check into nearby locations via Facebook.
The app is free and only available in the U.S. and Canada. You'll be able to unlock a number of rewards, including an in-game weapon, the first issue of the Darksiders digital comic, mobile backgrounds, and footage from the game. There are also daily prizes, including a full-sized replica Death scythe. Winners are entered into a grand prize drawing for a trip to the Yucatan Peninsula.
“The Soul Harvest app is a great way for Darksiders fans to connect with the game’s fiction and interact with each other,” said Jim Huntley, vice president of global brand marketing at THQ.
