Heihachi And Toro Confirmed For PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

by Kyle Hilliard on Jul 07, 2012 at 05:15 AM

In honor of the biggest fighting game tournament of the year happening this weekend, EVO 2012, Sony has revealed Heihachi Mishima and Toro Inoue as playable characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

Heihachi isn't exclusively a PlayStation character anymore, but the Tekken series did originate on Sony's console, so his inclusion seems appropriate. Toro Inoue is Sony's marketing mascot in Japan, so he may not be immediately familiar to us Americans.

Sony's presence at EVO 2012 also saw the announcement of a new stage, the Dojo from PaRappa the Rapper, seen above.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is set for release on October 23. You can check out the latest trailer for the game with the Heihachi and Toro announcements below, and you can click here to check out the confirmed roster for the game so far.
