Dust 514 Beta Starting June 29
Developer CCP Games announced today that the first beta event for its upcoming free-to-play shooter, the PS3-exclusive Dust 514, is kicking off in just a few weeks. The company also released a new gameplay trailer, which you can see below.
Several beta events will occur throughout the summer, to which you can get an all-access pass by being one of the first 10,000 users of Dust 514's PlayStation Home Space -- a Home tie-in being launched as part of Sony's Virtual E3 initiative.
Interested players can also enter to win individual beta keys at the official Dust 514 site.
Finally, CCP also announced that it will be launching a Vita app for Dust 514 sometime in 2012 after the game itself launches, which will tie into the game's social and avatar customization features.
Dust 514 comes to PlayStation 3 later this year.
