Ubisoft Registers Domains For Rumored Tablet Project
Thanks to a domain registration sweep, we may now know the official name of Ubisoft's rumored tablet project.
First discovered in a leaked internal Ubisoft video by web sleuth superannuation, the tablet, codenamed Project InTouch, looks to be a pen and pad based peripheral in the vein of THQ's uDraw. Now Fusible has discovered that the French publisher has registered several domain names around the Drawsome brand. The websites include DrawsomeTablet.com, DrawsomeArtist.com, and DrawsomeSketchQuest.com.
The move toward a tablet peripheral would make sense for Ubisoft given the company's strong focus in family focused games. The Petz, Imagine, and Just Dance games have all been big successes. It also doesn't hurt the uDraw has performed strongly for THQ.
