Dota 2 Has Possible Fall Release Date
Valve has been working on Dota 2 for a while, but hasn't shown much to the public. When will gamers finally get a chance to play it? A voice actor on the project suggests the game will be coming out in a matter of months.
On the Impetuous Windmills podcast, John Patrick Lowrie (who voices several of the characters in Dota 2) makes a comment about the release date. “I think that they’re planning on releasing it in the fall. I think they’re finishing it up,” he says. “Of course, I could be wrong, I’m just the hired help, but I believe that’s what they told me.”
With a probable beta test on the horizon, that means Valve would have to get something in players hands soon. Dota 2 will be playable at GamesCom, so we should have a better picture of how things are shaping up then. In the meantime, read our Dota 2 feature for plenty of details.
