More Remakes Coming To 3DS

In a recent interview, Nintendo's main man Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that more classic remakes will be coming to the 3DS, and named the game he would most like to see on the new handheld. Hint: It's an awesome choice.

Speaking with Edge, Miyamoto named Link To The Past as the Zelda game he would most like to see redone in stereoscopic 3D. "Do you remember Xevious? It’s two-layered and I really wanted to create that [with Link To The Past] at the time. So to see Link To The Past in two layers would be quite attractive for me.”

In addition to more remakes, Miyamoto says Nintendo has been focusing on hardware a lot lately, but that the company will now shift back to games again. “We spent a lot of time developing 3DS, for games for the future," Miyamoto said. "So from now on I think we’ll focus more on gaming, and we are releasing lots of games this year.”

More first party titles and more classic games remade for stereo 3D? Sounds good to me!
