Dungeon Fighter Online Heading To XBLA

by Jeff Marchiafava on Mar 25, 2011 at 11:30 AM

Nexon's insanely popular free-to-play action game, Dungeon Fighter Online, is coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Which begs the question: Will the 360 version be just as popular, and will it still be free-to-play?

The PC version has over 200 million registered users, so a downloadable console version probably won't reach the same level of success. Retaining its free-to-play status is questionable as well. Nexon's PR director Mike Crouch recently told Gamasutra that they weren't ready to discuss the business model for the XBLA version, but if we had to make a wager, we'd bet there will be at least some price associated with downloading the core game.

Nexon plans to release the XBLA version of Dungeon Fighter Online in all major regions within the year.
