Upcoming Darksiders Statue Glows Like A Fast And The Furious Car
SOTA Toys' upcoming Darksiders statue showcases fantastic likenesses of War and his devil horse Ruin, but offers one detail that I'm not entirely on board with. No, it isn't the unkempt tail hair, or the saddle that could easily puncture the rider's stomach. It's the glowing head of doom, people. THE GLOWING HEAD OF DOOM!!!
Why is his entire head glowing? Just having the eyes glow would be great, but having his entire head glow makes him look like a prop from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, a car from The Fast and the Furious, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer going nuclear all at once.
SOTA Toys' update accompanying these pictures says that "the lighting effect is coming along pretty nicely! This is going to be one mean statue!" I'm hoping that the "coming along" part means that Ruin's head is still being worked on.
The statue isn't due out until March, so that is entirely possible. Regardless, let's all pray for Ruin's head. Check out another image of the horse as well as a couple shots of the original sculpt below.
