Reader Discussion: Do You Still Like Your Wii U?

by Tim Turi on Apr 15, 2013 at 12:23 PM

It's almost been five months since Nintendo launched the Wii U. The system hit with some solid first-party offerings like New Super Mario Bros. U along with ports of popular games like Batman: Arkham City and Assassin's Creed III. Wii U owners haven't had much new to play since the console's release, and to make matters worse titles are being delayed and canceled. So are you still happy you have one?

Wii U owners have been hit with some bad news. Rayman Legends is no longer a Wii U exclusive, and the game was delayed to line up with PS3 and 360 releases. The Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines was also canceled following the game's dismal reviews. That may seem like a blessing more than a curse, but it still stinks that Wii U owners don't get the chance to try the game out for themselves. Additionally, Nintendo still hasn't made it possible for former Wii owners to transfer their old Virtual Console purchases over to the Wii U for play on the GamePad.

With all that in mind, do you Wii U owners still feel good about having purchased it? If you haven't bought it but were initially tempted, are you still thinking of picking one up?
