Take A Video Tour Of Pinball FX 2's New Table

by Jeff Marchiafava on May 19, 2011 at 01:40 PM

The editors here at Game Informer are big fans of Zen Studios' addictive pinball sim, so we jumped at the chance to try out the latest addition to Pinball FX 2's roster, the newly-released Fantastic Four table. Watch me play the new table and try out some of its comic-inspired missions, while discussing pinball and the Fantastic Four comics with Andrew Reiner. This video is guaranteed to make you a pinball wizard.

Here's the thing: I may have overstated how great this video is going to make you at pinball. As it turns out, the only thing you're probably going to learn from this video is that talking and playing pinball at the same time is not a skill I possess. This video may not show you how to top the Pinball FX 2 leaderboards, but it will give you a good look at the table's layout and some of its bells and whistles. At the very least, you should get a chuckle or two at how many times I immediately drained out at the beginning of a ball, and how quickly I managed to bring the Thing's multiball mode to an unflattering end. Not my finest hour.

The Fantastic Four table is available for Pinball FX 2 now for 240 Microsoft Points. It will be available in Marvel Pinball for PS3 shortly after PSN services are fully restored.
