Grey Goo
A classically inspired PC RTS, Grey Goo is the newly announced title from developer Petroglyph. However, the studio has another ally: WETA Workshop, Peter Jackson's special effects studio behind the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films.
According to the reveal from PC Gamer, Grey Goo is the inaugural title from publisher Grey Box. It is a PC-exclusive real-time strategy game focused on making macro-level decisions, rather than micromanaging individual units. It draws inspiration from games like Total Annihilation and Command & Conquer, but also takes cues from modern MOBAs.
The role of WETA Workshop is to assist Petroglyph in establishing an aesthetic for the game and its sci-fi universe.
