A Closer Look At Horizon: Zero Dawn's Collector's Edition Statue

by Andrew Reiner on Jul 22, 2016 at 08:10 AM

Bringing a bow and arrow to a robotic dinosaur hunt seems like one of the worst ideas anyone has ever come up. Despite that, Horizon: Zero Dawn's protagonist Aloy somehow uses this primitive weapon to subdue and defeat these powerful machines.

Horizon: Zero Dawn launches exclusively on PlayStation 4 on February 28. 2017. And today, we've got a look at a pricey (yet feature rich) collector's edition.

Retailing for $119.99, the collector's edition comes with a 9-inch statue of Aloy created by Gentle Giant. The set also comes various DLC pieces, an artbook, and well, who cares! You're mostly buying this edition for the statue.

Game Informer's Brian Shea got a closer look at it at Gentle Giant's booth at San Diego Comic Con today, and it's looking awesome. For a deeper dive into Horizon: Zero Dawn's world, check out our interview with Guerrilla Games' Mathijs de Jonge (game director) and Mark Norris (senior producer).
