[Update] Xbox Live Problems Fixed Again After Second Wave of Problems
Update 5: Microsoft is sounding the all-clear again. Both the purchasing and downloading issue, as well as the EA Access problem, have been restored.
Update 4 (February 23, 2016 @ 11:19 a.m. Central): Just hours after repairing widespread issues that lingered for more than 15 hours, Xbox Live is experiencing more issues. This time, the problems include purchasing content and using EA Access.
The current issue includes code redemption, purchasing games and movies, and downloading items you've already purchased. We'll update as more information is available.
Update 3 (February 23, 2016 @ 7:42 a.m. Central): As of approximately 5:30 a.m. Central, Microsoft alerted users that the problems affecting Xbox Live have been repaired. Total downtime was more than 15 hours, during which time many users were unable to play purchased content or access streaming services.
In some cases, users were unable to stream content from local PCs or play DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. It's unclear whether the problems were simple server failure or originated with an attack. We'll update should Microsoft share more details.
For now, Xbox Live appears to operating normally.
Update 2 (February 22, 2016 @ 8:58 p.m. Central): Xbox Live continues to lose access to services, as now live TV, music, and video has been downgraded to "limited."
Update 1: Xbox Live is getting worse, not better. In addition to the content problems reported earlier, now users are having issues signing into the service.

If you are having trouble starting games or movies on Xbox One, you’re not alone. Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Live service is experiencing issues.
The problem isn’t restricted to the console platform. The publishers says that Xbox on other platforms (such as Windows 10) are affected.
