Welcome The Winter 2016 Game Informer Interns

by Ben Reeves on Jan 25, 2016 at 11:45 AM

Winter is one of the best times to cuddle up with a game and stay indoors. Most gamers are still playing catch up on their backlogs from 2015 and looking forward to the year ahead. As we try to stay warm in Minneapolis and gear up for another fun year of gaming, we're happy to introduce Game Informer's intern crew for the winter of 2016. These awesome writers will be helping us cover all the important video game news and culture over the next three months as they further their knowledge of working in the industry.

Expect to see plenty of news, features, and more popping up on the website from Luke Walaszek, Connor Trinske, and Joe Buchholz (click their names and get to know them better by reading their introductory blog posts). Luke is a student at the University of Minnesota study for a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication who is also a big fan of Magic: The Gathering, Hitchcock movies, and sketch comedy. Connor is a graduate from the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas, and is such a big fan of games that even even start started his own video game website. Meanwhile, Joe is a Minnesota native who graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Individualized Studies specifically tailored for video game writing who helped create an online news show called Games Are Dumb And For Kids. We're excited to have these fine folks on board, so please extend a warm welcome!
