by Kyle Hilliard on Aug 30, 2015 at 05:34 AM

The formerly Japan-exclusive Nintendo 64 title, Sin & Punishment, is now available on Wii U Virtual Console.

From developer Treasure, the game was originally only available in Japan, until it saw release on the Wii Virtual Console in 2007. Now the game is also available on the Wii U's Virtual Console at a slightly elevated price. Most Nintendo 64 games are $9.99, but Sin & Punishment is $11.99. A sequel, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, released on the Wii in 2009.

With the release of Sin & Punishment there are now seven Nintendo 64 titles available on the Wii U Virtual Console, making it even compared to the Xbox One, which is home to seven Nintendo 64 titles thanks to Rare Replay.

Our Take
Sin & Punishment was always one of those fabled titles that never made it to North America because it was rumored to be too good, or something along those lines. When it did finally release, the hyperbole washed away, but it still has a good reputation. It's one I've always been meaning to try.
