Xbox Live Gold Members Can Play NBA 2K15 On Xbox One For Free This Weekend
To celebrate the start of the NBA playoffs, Xbox Live Gold subscribers are able to play Visual Concepts' NBA 2K15 for free this weekend. Starting at noon Pacific on Friday, April 24, Xbox Live subscribers can play the entire NBA 2K15 experience for free until Sunday night at midnight Pacific.
In addition, players who enjoy the game enough to want to pick it up will be able to do so at a discounted rate on Xbox Live. The NBA 2K15 bundle, which includes the game, as well as 15,000 VC, the currency used in the game, will be available for 40% off MSRP on Xbox Live. All achievements and saves will transfer from the free version to the full version.

I know that whenever any sport starts its playoffs, I immediately want to pick up the best game for that sport, so 2K Sports and Xbox coupling this free weekend with a sale to coincide with the start of the playoffs is a smart move. I already purchased NBA 2K15 and have been really enjoying the various career modes.
