PC Version Of Saw Digital-Only

by Tim Turi on Oct 17, 2009 at 01:50 PM

A trip to your local retailer is not an option for those of you who insist on tackling Jigsaw’s twisted puzzles with a mouse and keyboard. Saw, which was released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at the beginning of the month, is going to be available for the PC exclusively through Steam.

Steam’s website displays Konami’s newest horror foray as releasing sometime later in October. Saw isn’t the first Konami game to give North American store shelves the cold shoulder, however, as last year’s Silent Hill: Homecoming also hit Valve’s digital distribution service.

Though Steam may be helping you play Saw, once you're playing the game you're actually going to want to avoid the it. The scalding gas is like vaporized rag-doll poison that reduces you to a crumpled mess on the ground.
