Lara Croft Go Awarded Game Of The Year Honors By Apple
Apple has named its top 25 games and apps of the year, with a familiar face taking top honors on the entertainment side. Lara Croft Go, Square Enix’s puzzle-focused Tomb Raider adventure, has been given the crown for 2015.
Lara Croft Go also walked away with the mobile/handheld award at last week’s 2015 Game Awards. A free expansion, The Shard of Life, was released at the end of November.
Also on Apple’s list are Fallout Shelter in second place, Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade at number five, Hearthstone at number six, and the clever puzzle-meets-runner You Must Build a Boat at number 11. The top app is mobile live-streaming phenom Periscope.
