2005 Russian Horror Game Pathologic Getting The HD Re-release Treatment
Pathologic, a 2005 horror game from Russian studio Ice-Pick Lodge, is getting an HD remake.
If you're unfamiliar with the game, here's the general plot:
In Pathologic players embark on a dark journey to explore a remote town built upon old tanneries and butcheries just as a mysterious and deadly disease breaks out. Whilst the disease can be identified by physical symptoms, its roots and origins remain mysterious. The disease is highly infectious and deadly. It affects the neural and the blood-circulating systems, crippling both body and mind.
You, as a doctor, explore the strange town, learning about the disease, and interacting with its quirky inhabitants. It's considered a cult classic by many, and along with its upgraded graphics, this HD version will have new translations and updated English dialogue.

Our Take
I am totally unfamiliar with this game, but exploring a strange town and the words "cult classic" reminds me of Deadly Premonition – a game I am very fond of. I'm curious to check it out when it releases as it is one that clearly passed me by.
