Where's Our Rory McIlroy PGA Tour Review?
After a year off, EA Sports brings back its PGA Tour franchise with the first iteration on the new systems. We've played the game up and down, but are holding off posting our review for an important reason.
As much as we've played of the game, we want to wait to post our review until we have more time with the game's online mode. The title features asynchronous tournaments where you post a score to a leaderboard, but it also has head-to-head online ranked and unranked matches where all golfers will play simultaneously – a first for the series.
Despite this addition to the game, we're a little disappointed that the overall feature set is pared down from previous years, including one fundamental change in how you progress your golfer in the game's career mode.
We'll have all the details on the title as soon as we've played more of the online portion, so check back soon!
