Report: DirecTV Details NFL Sunday Ticket Streaming On Devices
Last year many gamers watched out-of-market NFL games by buying the Anniversary Edition of EA Sports' Madden NFL 25, which came with a special offer. For $99, non-DirecTV subscribers got a free year of NFL Sunday Ticket Max – including access to the package on computers, tablets, and mobile phones. So far DirecTV hasn't announced any special offers related to Madden, but there is a report detailing how you can access NFL Sunday Ticket through your different devices, including your consoles.
According to a promotional page uncovered by AppleInsider, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox One owners can watch out-of-market NFL games (i.e. not their local team) with either the NFLsundayticket.tv Console ($239.99) or Max ($329.99) packages. The Max package also includes the ability to watch on your computer, tablet, or phone, as well as the NFL Red Zone channel. Neither of these are available in the Console package.
DirecTV is also offering a streaming-only package (which doesn't include consoles) for $199.99 – even if you don't have a subscription to DirecTV, which is different from last year – but that is only available if you live in an apartment building where DirecTV is not available, attend a select university, or live in the New York, Philadelphia, or San Francisco metro areas.
DirecTV has not officially announced the details listed above.

Our Take
If this is true, it's interesting that DirecTV and Microsoft aren't partnering for some sort of exclusive/special deal for Xbox One. When the system was announced, NFL was one of its big partners, and many speculated that an exclusive streaming deal on Xbox One was in the works. Even if this report is correct, some sort of different Xbox One deal could happen, so we'll have to wait and see how it all shakes out.
