Artist Mashes Up Iconic Video Game Characters Young And Old
Commissioned by a friend of an artist known only by reddit username, karlijoy, these three pieces mash up a number of video game characters for use as backgrounds on a three-monitor setup.
When asked about more of his work and whether he takes freelance submissions, karlijoy said "I'm primarily a photographer/graphic designer and drawing is just a fun hobby of mine!"
You'll see characters as old as Mario, as new as Meat Boy, and more obscure characters like racers from Diddy Kong Racing. It's an impressive collection of recognizable characters. In total, karlijoy says they spent between 30-40 hours on the three pieces.
