Last Chance To Get Super Mario Collection In March

by Matt Miller on Feb 15, 2011 at 12:03 PM

Nintendo will be doing one more printing of the popular collector's edition of Super Mario All-Stars.

Dry your tears. Remember when you forgot to go pick up your copy of the Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition pack that released late last year? You know the one. It had Super NES updated versions of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario Bros. 3. It could be played on your Wii. It came with a soundtrack CD of popular Mario music. as well as a 32 page Mario history booklet. You didn't remember it was coming out until it was too late, and then all the stores were sold out. You wept bitterly, and returned to your humdrum existence without this $29.99 piece of heaven in your possession.

Your long night of sorrow is at an end. Nintendo, in its great and inestimable wisdom, is re-releasing the limited edition set on March 13th.

It should be noted that at the time that Nintendo originally released this package last year, the gaming company also claimed the game would be on the market only until it sold out. Then it sold out. And now there's another printing. So, take that for what it's worth.
