Hideo Kojima Immortalized In LEGO Minifig Form

by Zak Wojnar on Apr 02, 2017 at 04:57 PM

Legendary game developer Hideo Kojima is best known for his work on the iconic Metal Gear Solid series and the upcoming open-world action/adventure, Death Stranding. However, outside of game development, he's also active on Twitter, where he discusses his life and the movies he watches. Recently, he expressed his exuberance over The Lego Batman Movie, and his praise for the film has not gone unnoticed.

After seeing his positive tweets on the movie, Warner Brothers Japan went ahead and made art of a minifig version of Kojima, which he proudly displayed on his social media page.

The best part? This isn't the first time this has happened to the Metal Gear auteur; in 2014, after gushing over the first LEGO movie, Warner Bros made a different minifig in his honor. Like the earlier figurine, it doesn't look like this one will be turned into a physical item which fans can purchase, but it's still a lovely way to honor such a high-profile fan of LEGO.
