New Title Gravel Taking The Off-Road World By Storm

by Matthew Kato on Mar 02, 2017 at 03:20 AM

Milestone, developers of titles such as Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO, have announced a new off-road racing title simply called Gravel. The game comes out in August on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and is being published by Square Enix.

The game's racing is more arcade focused, and takes place around the world in wide-open checkpoint races, door-banging circuits, and inside stadiums filled with spectacular jumps.

Milestone isn't detailing all of the game's modes just yet, and apart from online, Gravel contains a TV show structure. This sounds like it will anchor your career as you race through different disciplines to try and be the best.

Our Take
With Dirt 4 by competitor Codemasters also coming out this summer, it looks like it's going to be a crowded field. I'm interested to see how the rest of the Gravel's modes possibly differentiate the game from the likes of Dirt 4, and how the racing feels in comparison.
