Bungie Helps Two Game Developers Get Engaged In Destiny

by Matt Miller on Oct 21, 2016 at 09:30 AM

We’ve heard lots of great stories over the years about people who get married or engaged in cute ways related to video games, but it’s pretty rare that a game and studio as big as Destiny and Bungie get involved in such a cool way with an individual proposal. But that seems to be what happened this time around, as a series of tweets from Vlambeer’s Rami Ismail reveal a heartfelt proposal from Adriel Wallick, who helps organize the annual Train Jam game development event.

The tweeted pictures show off a couple of in-game custom elements that enabled the proposal, including a letter from Adriel to Rami, an in-game custom emote for the proposal, and even a special artifact called a Ring of Eternity.

Ismail accepted the proposal.

We reached out to Bungie regarding the proposal, but the studio chose not to comment, and instead they're letting the proposal speak for itself.
