Reader Discussion: What Are Your Impressions Of Pokémon Go So Far?

Pokémon Go, the augmented reality mobile game that allows you to capture pokémon with your phone, officially released on iOS and Android in regions such as the United States and Australia this past week. If you live in one of these areas and downloaded the app, what have been your first impressions of the game so far?

Pokémon Go is making a big impact on the gaming world right now, but critic reception has been mixed. Have the server issues disrupted your enjoyment of the game, or are you having fun regardless? Do you find the concept of augmented reality gimmicky, or is there a future for it?
