Text Your Fellow Wastelanders With This Fallout Emoji App

by Joseph Knoop on Nov 03, 2015 at 07:58 AM

War may never change, but that doesn’t mean you have to keep using the same dull pizza emoji to order your lunch. Bethesda has teamed up with Apple and Android to create an official Fallout emoji app.

The Fallout C.H.A.T. (or “Communication Hub And Transmitter”) app lets you pick from one of dozens of custom Fallout emojis or gifs to insert into your message. Examples include a grimacing super mutant face, a superhero Vault Boy fending off explosive debris, and Fallout 4’s dog companion in a fetching bandana and goggles combo. You can send actual words, too, formatted to look like in-game text. In total, there’s more than 60 emojis and gifs. No word on what happens when you send the Nuka Cola emoji to Target, who’s partnering with Jones Soda to sell an official Nuka Cola Quantum drink on November 10.

The Fallout C.H.A.T. app is available worldwide for free on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
