Reader Discussion: When Do You Consider A Game Finished?

by Kyle Hilliard on Jul 12, 2015 at 07:55 AM

Is it when the credits roll the first time? Or when you've achieved 100% completion? Or is it just when you start getting bored?

In general, I consider a game finished when I see the credits. Even if there are additional endings, or incentives for getting 100% completion, I usually feel pretty accomplished once I see everyone's name who worked on the game scrolling on the screen. Of course, there are exceptions. I have tracked down every Riddler trophy in every console Arkham game, and it's when I found those that I felt as though I had truly completed those games.

How about you? When are you done with a game?
