No Doubt Settles Band Hero Lawsuit

Rock group No Doubt has settled its lawsuit with Activision over the publisher using the band's likeness in the game Band Hero. The Associated Press reports the settlement was reached on Monday just weeks before it was scheduled to go to trial. Exact terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
No Doubt filed its lawsuit back in 2009 when the group discovered their character models could be used to play songs from other bands without their permission. The lawsuit said Activision “transformed No Doubt band members into a virtual karaoke circus act."
