by Tim Turi on Oct 04, 2010 at 01:05 PM

Are you looking to add more fright factor to your custom Minecraft creation? Perhaps digging into the depths of the malleable world has become predictable and boring? The newest update to Minecraft implements Halloween-flavored curveballs to spice things up, like new monsters and torches that go out and leave you alone in the dark.

Here’s a summary of the humorous update post on the Minecraft website:

  • A new realm
  • New Monsters
  • More dangerous depths
  • Dying torches
  • Scary fish
  • Jack-o-lanterns
  • Player-to-player scares
  • Craft-able watch

All these new features go live on October 31.
