The White Stripes, No Doubt Add New Rock Band Tracks

by Bryan Vore on Nov 06, 2009 at 04:15 AM

Even though Jack White’s other two bands The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs have already appeared on the Rock Band Store, his core musical outlet, The White Stripes, are only now making their debut. I’ve had “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” on my music game wish list FOREVER so I’m going to consider this a thoughtful present just to me.

Those hoping to recreate the ambiance of a Microsoft press conference can download Kasabian’s “Club Foot,” and some band called The Damned has a track that somehow makes it through the kid-friendly LEGO filter. I guess "***" just isn’t that bad of a cuss word anymore. ***, ***, ***!

Timed suspiciously well with No Doubt’s lawsuit against Activision is No Doubt’s “Excuse Me Mr.” for the PSP. The full track listing is below:

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Nov. 10) and PlayStation 3 system (Nov. 12):

The Damned – “Smash It Up (Part II)” +
Kasabian – “Club Foot” +
The White Stripes – “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” +
The White Stripes – “Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine” +
The White Stripes – “Icky Thump”

PSP

No Doubt – “Excuse Me Mr.”
Dropkick Murphys – “I’m Shipping Up to Boston”

(the “+” means LEGO approved)
