Brütal Legend Triple Pack Erupting Into Rock Band
In a synergistic move bound to increase brand awareness and harmonize user empathy toward music game platforms, Rock Band is getting a three pack of tunes ripped from Brütal Legend’s soundtrack in time for the game’s release next week. The Brütal Legend Pack includes “(We Are) The Road Crew ‘08” by Motörhead, “The Metal” by Tenacious D and “More Than Meets the Eye” by Testament. It’ll cost $5.49 for PlayStation 3 users, or 440 Microsoft Points for the 360 crowd. Individually, tracks are priced at $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points, or 200 Wii Points.
A few other songs are also coming next week, though they are not affiliated in any way with Brütal Legend. They are Black Tide’s “Show Me the Way”; Blink-182’s “What’s My Age Again?”; Joe Satriani’s “Satch Boogie” and “Surfing with the Alien”; Kansas’ “Icarus (Borne on the Wings of Steel)” (Live from Two for the Show) and “Point of Know Return” (Live from Two for the Show); and L7’s “Andres”. Those songs are also available individually for $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points, or 200 Wii Points.
