The lights are on
After a four-year hiatus, the NBA Live series is finally making a return on Xbox One and PlayStaiton 4 with NBA Live 14, and it's promising to offer the most up-to-date player statistic tracking of any basketball video game.
According to publisher Electronic Arts, after every NBA game, player ratings and tendencies will be updated to reflect the the most recent games. New challenges will also be added to the game regularly that will allow NBA fans to play out events that transpired in recent games.
You can learn more about these next-gen additions by checking out the video below. NBA Live 14 will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 19. For more on the game, check out the most recent gameplay trailer.

2k is still better
As cool as this sounds, I just don't see this game doing better than 2K. 2K is dominating the basketball marketplace. Live has been gone far too long, and it didn't leave on a good note. Trying to come back from that and compete against what 2K has become in recent years is no easy task.
Even if this game is good I don't think it will sell till next year, 2k is the champ right now and I'm pretty sure everyone who wanted a basketball game for next Gen has already decided on 2k, the fact that nobody probably doesn't even know live is making a comeback will also hurt. I hope its good because competition can only make 2k better than it already is
I sure hope EA will deliver on this game. I loved Live back in the day (mainly because that was the only b-ball game available until 2K) so I hope for its success. I will say, the animation still looks a little stiff so 2K will be my NBA purchase like it has been for the last 5 years!
I cannot wait to get my hands on this. why does it drop 4 days after ps4 drops though. smh. Ultimate team and online head to head for me 24/7 folks will not be able to put it down until next yrs game. which hopefully comes out sooner
It would be nice if this game could come out the gate & give 2k14 the challenge it needs. I normally don't listen to reviews but this time. If I'm going to purchase this game I'm going to need to see those reviews.
Still not sold on this one yet
