The lights are on
It's only 90 seconds long, but we have a new look at Kingdom Hearts III. This series of clips appears to take place at DisneyLand, as Sora and his team fight Heartless.
The shadow Heartless seen in the video resemble those from the original Kingdom Hearts (and not the beefier NeoShadows first introduced in the video at the end of Kingdom Hearts). The game is looking both gorgeous and familiar.
We don't have a release date or window (and likely won't for some time). Kingdom Hearts III is in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you haven't played previous games in the series, you can catch up with Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix right now and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix next year. Both are on PlayStation 3.

Its great that this game is coming out but in my opinion the gameplay looked pretty generic but it is still far from finish.
The fact that they have some great Disney references in this short clip has made my day! Keep it up!
Kingdom Hearts 4 life! <3
This is very reassuring.after just hearing the anoncment at e3 they'r already rolling out some gameplay footage. It's good to know they'r getting sh@t done unlike ff14 and the last guardin we heard about those games how long ago? Hopefully they'll keep droping some more of these little teases about the game through year and get a KH3 issue down the road soon
Keyblade guns? I need to go change my pants!!
Isn't that one of the titans in Hercules? I hope we get to visit more of his world.
The visuals look beautiful, and the hit animations are a nice touch. I hope that the controls have been improved a little though because otherwise it looks like there will be some very stressful fights! Haha. I can't wait to see more regarding the direction they will take this game.
So I guess that level is just one big ad for Disneyland, just like that 3 part episode of family matters.
I saw this yesterday and I'm definitely a little bummed out. I think they should have waited until they had made more progress before they released a trailer. It really is pretty dull right now. I'm also concerned if this is still the same PS2 design the series has always used even though we are on the PS4. I want worlds that aren't just five/six rooms magically linked together. All of that said, I'm super excited for the final product. I think the worlds will be more lively once it gets farther along similar to when Lightning Returns was announced to how it looks now.
