The lights are on
Ubisoft has released a new making-of video for their game Child of Light, which shows some of the work that's gone into creating the heroine, Aurora, and the game itself.
The video below shows how the team knew it had come upon an iconic character for its game, thanks to a little help from some crayon-wielding children. The developers also highlight the game's dialogue. which is based on rhymes, and the soothing voiceover that ties everything together.
Child of Light is coming out April 30 for the PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. For a closer look at the game's world, check out our earlier preview.

Less than a week away, getting even more excited to play this.
Excited to play this.
already payed for it, also excited to see Valiant hearts and Prince of Persia in this engine.. Can't wait to see what else this engine does.
OMG I don't know why, but this trailer made me weep!
It's when they introduced the voice actress playing the narrator, and then it clicked who she is...
And that music!
WAAHHHHH!!!! So excited. I'm such an excitable infant sometimes.
Can't wait for this game. It looks to hit on a lot of nostalgia. With this and Daylight hitting next week it's gonna be a good week to game.
I'm actually excited for this. It isn't my usual cup of tea, but it looks beautiful and I think it might be something nice to play at the end of a long work day.
I will definitely be downloading this on my XBO.
i'm going to pre-order this. I want to play it. The making of video did it for me...
