The lights are on
Irrational Games and 2K Games have released a spoiler-filled video of the first five minutes of the Burial at Sea Episode 1 DLC. If you want to see what we played last week, all you need do is click play.
Burial at Sea Episode 1 is the first of two parts, marking Irrational Games' return to the underwater city of Rapture. The city has been rebuilt from the seabed up, and you'll get your first look at what life was like before adam addiction ruined the place.
BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 1 will be out this holiday.
I would love to watch, but I don't want spoilers.
Maybe it's done into two parts, because one part is having investigate stuff, and having nothing to kill, while part 2 does have you do that, maybe that's why.
I refuse to watch, nor will I be reading anything related to it until I get my hands on it. I shouldn't even be here.
I want to watch but must stay strong. Must stay strong. Ok FINE I will watch it!!!
Seems like its still too much walking around doing nothing like I'm in a museum or something. And for 3 hours it better have some good gameplay.
Looks like it has a lot of the glaring problems Bioshock: Infinite had. I'll pass.
Actually, it's not that back-breaking of a spoiler vid, or at least as spoilerish as it would take to really reveal its plot. It's only as mysterious as Bioshocks usually are, but that's fine by me. Nice story intro, Rapture looks ten times as beautiful as it looked originally. Terrific.
Little light on the spoilers. Looks great though. Wonder about the price however, for just a few hours of game play.
Glad I didn't sell my copy of the game
Nice. I hope it last longer than a couple of hours.
I would love to play Infinite again. I bought it for the story, and I really liked it. I have an issue with alternate story lines that don't tie into the main story from the original game; call me closed minded.
If I'm wrong please correct me, but I feel that so much more can be done with the expansion of the original story. And as far as I have been told, this DLC goes in the opposite direction.
It's funny, but I never once thought about what the city of "Rapture" would have looked like before it collapsed until I played "Bio-Shock Infinite". I was stunned by how beautiful the beginning of "Bio-Shock Infinite" was, then shocked by how dark it became by the end of the game....
So seeing the entire city of "Rapture" up and running happily was a surprise and also quite beautiful at that. To think the "Big Daddys" and the "Big Sisters" were once looked at the same way the "Handy Men" were is a terrifying thought!!! *_*
