This is extremely satisfying to see, I remember all of them matches. Some of the best wrestling memories ever. Can't wait to pick this game up
Is Hulk Hogan even a draw still, having thoroughly destroyed his "legacy"? I mean, thanks to his ongoing slide into irrelevancy - I mean, his career in TNA Wrestling - he's like a walking, sad parody of himself.
Also, I miss WWE All Stars. Not only did that game try to present these types of matches & moments as larger than life, but it just flat out controlled better/more responsively and was way more fun. R.I.P. THQ San Diego/Midway San Diego/Paradox. I wonder if 2K will ever try to branch out and deliver an arcadey wrestling game like THQ was trying to? They don't seem super interested in arcadey sports titles period, save for trying to do The BIGS and the Power Pro games with their MLB license. It would be interesting to see 2K do some arcadey sports titles period, not just with the WWE here - what would their answer to NBA Street or NBA Jam be, y'know?
Imagine Le Hulk going at it now hehe.
