  • This game looks pretty cool but it will cost a ton if you wish to buy everything. Also, first. :)

  • The more I see of this game, the more I want it and the more I know I should stay as far away from it as possible.
  • It's about time that MICKEY MOUSE showed up in Disney's next major gaming endeavor. For eff's sake. Some executive morons prioritized a frickin' Lone Ranger set before getting Mickey into this thing? Ugh.

One of the most frustrating things about video games this year was watching Mickey sit out Disney Infinity, a pretty interesting & fun-looking game. It's nice to see them move away from the marketing "synergy"-based decisions and start getting to the GOOD content! Jack Skellington, the Wreck-It Ralph characters... all good (but not surprising since they've been in previous videos). Here's hoping they keep on bringing in stuff like this, and less stuff like Lone Ranger.

I also like the idea of the Toy Box at launch; maybe you will be able to pick up a decent chunk of figures and ignore most of the upsell stuff. Guess we'll see. I'm still 99% sure that this will be far too expensive to actually jump into for quite awhile, and heck, looking at Skylanders, I don't see the MSRP going down on the base game for months & months.
  • It'd be awesome, and sell me on it, if they extended their partnership with Square Enix to include characters from Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy into Infinity.

I know it won't happen, just wishful thinking. It would sell me on it, if for anything other than to collect the figures of Cloud, Squall, and Sephiroth.

  • Boy my parent's wallet will be hurting once my little sister (9) gets her hands on this game.

  • I'd get this game if I was't aware that Disney will inevitably release a sequel that might not be compatible with these figures the year following.
  • One of the most epic things to think about, that I haven't seen anyone mention, is that Disney owns Marvel and Star Wars. With those two alone you could be looking at hundreds of characters. I seriously hope those are in the plans.
  • This is cool, I don't understand why they don't have a next gen version like skylanders.
  • When will they stop hyping this s*** ?

  • Thats mad cool

  • Eh seeing how it's so much like Skylanders this is a game I'll never get into. Though I do have a family member who collects Mickey and Minnie stuff so one of those figures would be a nice gift even if it isn't used for the game.
  • Really looking forward to my son and I playing this game.

  • It's about time Mickey showed up.  Though, they really need to add some more classic Disney characters.  Also, Agent P and Phineas have been known for months.

  • yawn... lame.

  • As awesome as this game is looking, it is apparent that it's just getting to expensive for my taste.

  • I wonder if we are going to be seeing this style of gaming more and more. It's the perfect marketing plan. Make one game and a million add-ons in the form of cool little toys. I wonder who will be the next studio to come out with a similar style. Probably Traveler's Tales with Lego figures or maybe Sony will jump on board with all their signature characters as figures like Sackboy, Crash, PaRappa, Jak and Daxter, etc. Like they did with "Playstation All-stars Battle Royal" only different game-play. I would buy it, not just for the game but, I'm sure the figures would be cool.

  • sweet

  • Now that they finally decided to announce Mickey, I can really consider this game. I'm still hoping for some Stitch and Hercules characters, though.
  • Wow, totally didn't see this coming.
