Assassin's Creed III Naval Warfare Trailer

Ubisoft released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed III that highlights the type of battles players can expect to face at sea. Hope you packed your swim trunks. Assassin's Creed III is out October 30 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The PC version hits November 20. The game will also be on Wii U at launch.

  • Really worried about this. It could be a great addtion, or a horriable failure.
  • looking forward to the new developments

  • Man, when Was the last time I played a game with navel warfare? Sid Meier's Pirates?

    Dam.... been a long time.

  • This looks so fun! If it turns out well, can Ubisoft make a Pirates of the Caribbean game? Playing as Jack Sparrow and controlling your own ship with occasional hand-to-hand combat would be awesome!

  • This looks sweet. Can't wait to give the order for a broadside.

  • OMG!!! I can't wait! ...Good thing I preorderd...

  • The Assassins are calling me.....

I shall once again heed their call..

  • 2 more months to wait

  • Our eyes are going to get quite the treat this October. I cannot wait.

  • The anticipation grows...It's good to see them getting out of their comfort zone a bit in this series. Even if this segment doesn't turn out so well, at least they tried something new. It's more than what some devs do with established franchises, lol.
  • Looks great.

  • Nice trailer!!!

  • Is it just me, or do the AC trailers only seem to come in slow-mo and close-quarters combat fast?  Seriously, does this guy walk anywhere at a normal speed?

  • If the (many) Ubisoft teams on Assassins Creed are one thing, they're certainly ambitious. Always incredible to me just how much content and new mechanics are poured into every entry... the collective man-hours for these games development cycles must be staggering.
  • The world needs a good pirate game...well back to AC, I really hope Ubisoft can pull this off.
  • Awesome. I need to preorder this.

  • I cant wait until October.

  • This reminds me of the naval combat in Sly 3, but with much more badassery
  • Hmm... Shaping up to be at least more interesting than tower defense was in Revelations... And a bigger part as well.
