Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Multiplayer Trailer Showcases New Gadgets

The wait is finally over for Black Ops II multiplayer details. Activision and Treyarch released a trailer showcasing some of the new futuristic weaponry being introduced by the latest installment of Call of Duty.

As you can see in the trailer, Treyarch is adding several interesting killstreak perks and gadgets to the fragfests, including mechs, suicide drones, shock charges, sonic turrets that slow enemy movement. The end of the trailer highlights some live commentary functionality as well, which could be used to broadcast tournaments.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II ships for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 13. To find out more information on the multiplayer, stay tuned to our Gamescom coverage next week.

  • Suicide drones...interesting.
  • It sucks that this and Halo 4 come out so close together. I have to choose which one to play more, and continue college classes :(
  • I still need to see more, although Black Ops was the most fun I had since World at War.
  • That looks pretty fun. And it looks like dolphin diving is back!
  • at least they're trying something new, looks fun
  • How do people still play this crap?
  • Seeing all this new technology in Multiplayer only makes me think how it will all be used in Zombies.
  • same old COD -_-
  • I think the typical CoDtard will not appreciate the futuristic setting, also this game looks EXACTLY like black ops 1
  • Awesome, the dive is back!!!
  • Oh boy! Look at all the new cheap things to get killed by! I don't like how this reminds me of Modern Warfare more than Black Ops, when will we ever get a zombies trailer?
  • This is cool and all, but it really doesn't change the foundation at all like Treyarch said they would do. Oh well, what did I expect anyway, a total overhaul of a series that sells millions, probably not.
  • Voice recording after the match? The is amazing for console owners.
  • KELLYYYY RIPPAAAA!
  • looks like a lot of fun

  • Of all the cool stuff I saw in the trailer, the one thing that stood out to me was the return of DIVING!

  • Wow, those killstreaks and perks are actually surprisingly good looking compared to the now norm-ones... Interesting change of pace with the slo-mo machine and emp's knifes and gadgets and stuff too...
  • Well, I can already tell I'm going to hate having those perks used against me about as much as I hated the war dogs.

  • The only way I will purchase this game if it receives a 9.25 rating or higher from Gameinformer.

EDIT: Never mind I just read the review for MW3; what a joke, at best that game deserves at 8.5.
  • but no zombies......
