The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Trailer Sets Up The Story

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker released for the GameCube a decade ago, so there's a good chance that you're familiar with the game's story by now. Just in case you aren't, however, or want a refresher, Nintendo has released a story trailer.

The trailer does offer a little bit of a spoiler, technically. When the game originally released back in 2003, Ganondorf's appearance in the game wasn't confirmed, even if it was expected. It was a surprise to meet the man in Wind Waker's early hours.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is coming to Wii U on October 4.

  • Who's Peggy Seven?

  • plan i getting this eventually but its not at the top of my list at all even for the wii u list since i used to own the gamecube version  (  i was an idiot and traded my whole  sixth-generation games)

  • I don't say this often (OK well this is the first time) but it is great to be a WiiU owner.

  • A huge load of Nintendo awesome sauce.

  • Yep, because the story of a game that is a decade old is "news".

Also, it's good to note that the game will be available on the Wiiu Eshop on September 20th, a couple of weeks before the retail copy. I have a feeling that 2 weeks difference isn't going to make people buy one version or the other. The only reason why people bought New Super Luigi U digitally was because it was actually cheaper to buy it digitally than physically.

  • One of my favorite games of all time has never looked better.

  • Makes me want to get a Wii U
