The lights are on
Soul Suspect is a game that borrows from many other games like TellTale's Walking Dead and even Quantic Dream Beyond Two Souls. It's game play has very familiar point and click (push) game play and is very narrative driven. If your a gamer that really enjoys a good story then this is for you and the game play is okay but nothing spectacular and has issues when trying to highlight items even if you may be standing right on top of them. There are side quests included that are okay but nothing special and you can help other lost souls move on to the next realm. Where Soul Suspect really shines is it's characters, from the Bell Killer to the Psychics and especially Ronin. In short, if your a story guy (like myself) and love character driven narrative then I think you would enjoy this but if your more about game play and action this title won't be for you.
I liked the review. As a story guy, I loved this game. But anything outside of the story driven campaign and characters were very forgettable.
Overall, I very much agree with your review.
