Without a doubt, gaming is my favorite hobby. I know right now that I will continue to play games until the day I die. My enthusiasm for the subject is even so much that I would type 31 blogs in as many days on a semi-obscure gaming website.

Some say (especially when talking about Video games) that too much of something is bad, and then I say back to them that too much of anything is bad; Thus too much. With that said I truly know the meaning of the phrase “time flies when you’re playing games.”

There are times when one must try something different. If you’ve never tried anything different, then how do you know you aren’t missing out on something better? That’s why I’m kinda glad that my Mom forbade me from playing video games for a while, because it gives me time and cause to reflect.

Since then, I’ve devoted myself to other tasks, with much improvement across the board. For the first time in I don’t know how long, I feel good about a Spanish test, I have a good idea on what I need to write for an English assignment, and I’m generally more focused. I’m really starting to see just how much of my life that gaming was taking up.

However, that doesn’t mean that I want to stop. Far from it, I know now what I should do in regards to my gaming and school work, and other daily tasks. I know that if I don’t want to be stopped again, that I need to be smart with my time, otherwise I’ll be where I am now.

You can’t understand something by stopping it, but it can give you insight on what makes it go.

(I was looking for an excuse to put this in somewhere, then I realized that no excuse was needed because of it's awesomeness.)

Welp, that about wraps it up for my first 31/31. Leave a comment below and come visit my page. This is ‘The Enemy Gate Is Down’ signing off.
