The lights are on
A new trailer gives us our most detailed look at Square Enix's Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII yet.
The trailer is dubbed a "guided tour", and you'll see why. A narrator takes you through nearly every element of the game, from the world to the details of character customization. Extensive time is also spent breaking down the game's new focus on direct control and action elements. It's a new direction for Final Fantasy, and one that's looking very intriguing.
In spite of everything, I'm still looking forward to playing this sometime next year.
I just saw Hope. No thanks. Unless he ends up burning in hell for eternity. I would buy this just to see that.
omg can this come out already so they can do ff15? Who the heck cares about 13 how are they making the *** 3rd one am i the only one who finds that insane. It must do well in japan.
I know I shouldn't encourage this, but I hope we can get a Liara costume...
So, the gameplay is a pseudo action rpg and forgoes selecting your attacks and abilities? But what about item usage, I'm assuming you'd have an extensive item list, so how'd that fit with the more fast paced gameplay ( which looks a bit mashable if it's button based). I'm still saying this shouldn't be a Final Fantasy game, why is it Squareenix can't step out of their comfortzone and have a completely new game that can reference and nod towards FF. That way there wouldn't be constraints or being forced to have it go a certain route ( especially considering how ridiculous this entry has been).
It looks fun enough combat wise, but im not sold on the story and it having to be another XIII game, I want some fresh air, new faces and adventures. Just how many entries are we going to get that extends this stretched out series?
Awesome! Looking forward to it this holidays.
Looks intriguing. I'm willing to give it a go.
I think this looks great. Though I probably found this trailer way too funny. Meow, meow.
God those voices were terrible.
