The lights are on
Sony and Quantic Dream have been proudly sharing that the upcoming Beyond: Two Souls is the first PlayStation exclusive to be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival (L.A. Noire was the first title to receive the honor). Yesterday we shared with you the enormous prop script we received. Today, we bring you a sample of the footage that will be shown this weekend.
In the video, you'll see Ellen Page's character confront a mundane (yet terrifying) situation before taking a leap of faith. Quantic Dream has definitely upped the fidelity over even the gorgeous Heavy Rain. We'll have more on Beyond: Two Souls from the festival this weekend.
The title will be out on October 8, exclusively on PlayStation 3.

heavy rain was amazing. i am really awfully curious about how this title will be. it will be played, no question.
This game looks absolutely amazing.
It may be bootleg footage, but that was sure an impressive minute and-a-half. Definitely deserves to be shown off like a true movie, but how long is that dang festival showing gonna be with 2,000 + pgs.? (lol)
I would love to play that game on a screen that big! :D
Those graphics are incredible! And this is the scaled down version of QD's engine! Just imagine what their rumored PS4 shooter will look like!
This is shaping up to be my most anticipated game.
Can't wait to get some hands on this.
Wow, this is a big damn deal! That's awesome!
It must be nice to be able to play video games on such a big screen.
I laughed harder than I should've at the quick cut to a guy mashing X on his PS3 control.
all this is starting to feel a bit self-congratulatory. not sure I'm that impressed yet.
*** MORE I SEE OF THIS GAME THE MORE I WANT IT
